League Rules

League Information
-All teams are created with players that live inside of their school boundary or attend the high schools feeder school.
-Teams will be allowed a five minute grace period after the starting time to field at least 4 eligible players. If a team fails to field four eligible players at the end of this grace period, the game will be declared a forfeit. 
- Before your first game coaches will need to hand in a roster with the players and concussion forms, the team name and grade, the coaches phone number and the coaches E-Mail. If we do not receive this roster completed the next game is a forfeit. 
- All games consist of two 17 minutes halves, with the clock stopping on all shooting fouls, and all dead balls the last two minutes of each half.
- Four timeouts per game. Two full and two thirty second timeouts. They carry over to the 2nd half.
- Overtimes as follows: 1st overtime---two minutes, 2nd overtime is sudden death with the first team scoring three points.
- All teams must provide their own uniforms with a strong recommendation to be reversible. Each player on the team must wear a uniform with the same color. Each uniform must have a number on the front and back. 
- There is a three minute warm-up and a three minute halftime.
- Players can only play for one team in the same age group.
- 5th grade through 6th grade can either use a men's size ball or a women's size ball. If either coach wants the women's size ball it will be used.
- In cases of a tie breaker we will go head to head then point differential.  15 pt max taken from each game.
- Each team will provide a scorekeeper who will sit next to the clock at the game.
- Any coach or player ejected from the game WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE NEXT GAME.
- COACHES, PLEASE DO NOT RUN UP THE SCORE ON ANY TEAM THAT YOU PLAY. TEACH YOUR PLAYERS THE IMPORTANCE OF RESPECTING PLAYERS FROM THE OTHER TEAM. YOU SHOULD ALSO MAKE SURE PARENTS ARE UNDER CONTROL. THEY SHOULD ALSO BE AN EXAMPLE TO THE PLAYERS.
- Site supervisors have the authority and right to ask parents, family members, coaches and players to leave the gym or school at anytime.
